Hamsalekha Ravi

Ms. Hamsalekha Ravi holds an M.Sc. in Textile and Apparel Design from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and a B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design from Acharya Institute, Bangalore University. She has 6+ years of professional experience spanning both the apparel industry and higher education. She currently serves as the Program Head – Fashion Design in the Department of Art and Design and as the IQAC Coordinator for the School of Design, Media, and Creative Arts (SODMCA). Her expertise includes fashion design, textile development, apparel merchandising, and clothing production systems.

Areas of research: Sustainable Textiles, Technical Textiles, and Natural Fibres, with an emphasis on sustainable innovation in textile and apparel design.
