Suraj D is a passionate professional with a graduate degree in Information Technology and a Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism — a combination that gives him a distinctly interdisciplinary lens on design and technology. Over the past decade, he has immersed himself in various creative and technical domains, honing his skills in visual and graphic design and UI/UX design, while also being actively involved in knowledge sharing, training, and exploring the realm of digital ad innovations.

He currently serves as Assistant Professor and Program Head for UI/UX (User Interface and User Experience Design), where he leads curriculum development and mentors the next generation of design practitioners. His journey also includes working with leading brands like Health & Glow Pvt Ltd, where he contributed his design expertise to create impactful experiences. Today, his focus has evolved toward Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), voice technology, and UX research, exploring how conversational and voice-driven interfaces can make digital experiences more natural, adaptive, and human-centered.

He is also interested in photography and music, which he believes are deeply interconnected with different facets of design — pursuits that fuel his creativity and give him unique perspectives for approaching challenges in his professional and research work.
