A student who has passed 10+2 examination (level 4.0). Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
The applicant has to appear and clear the JET Exam, which includes:
Candidates have to secure valid ranks in UCEED (for the BDes program) and can directly attend the Portfolio review and Personal interview conducted by The School of Design, Media and Creative Arts.
If not, they have to undertake the JET Exam conducted by The School of Design, Media and Creative Arts followed by a Portfolio review and Personal interview to qualify for the Design program.
The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme in Communication Design offers a well-structured curriculum that initiates with a Common Foundation Year, consisting of two semesters. This foundational phase provides rigorous, hands-on training to develop students’ design sensibilities.
The curriculum accommodates the evolving interests of students. If a student’s aptitude diverges from their initial choice, they may request to transition to a different design stream, subject to seat availability and merit considerations.
