Dhananjoy Singh Choudhury

Mr. Dhananjoy Singh is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and educator with a strong foundation in fine arts, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking. Proficient across traditional mediums and digital art, he brings both technical depth and material sensitivity to creative practice and pedagogy.

With over 8 years of combined experience in academia and the creative industry, Mr. Singh bridges the worlds of fine art, design education, and professional production. On the industry side, he has worked as a Concept Artist at BYJU’S, one of India’s largest EdTech platforms, contributing to high-profile creative projects in collaboration with globally recognised brands including Disney and Epic! Learning. This industry exposure — spanning character development, concept visualisation, and large-scale creative production — informs a teaching philosophy deeply rooted in real-world relevance, creative problem-solving, and design thinking.

Currently serving as the Coordinator of Graphic Design and Communication Design at the School of Design, Media and Creative Arts, Mr. Singh leads and mentors students across undergraduate programmes, with a focus on integrating traditional artistic sensibilities with contemporary design practice.
